SingStar Marathon

On Friday 12th September, around 50 people in Southampton started singing every song available on the PS2 and PS3 SingStar disks, in order of their release, without stopping, in what was a 32 hour singing marathon to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

One of the hosts, Lucy Calvert, commented, "The event was fantastic and the singing never stopped thanks to a massive team effort and the generosity of some local restaurants. Even at 7am we were still raising the roof and dancing round the room. We knew it was going to be a tough challenge, but as we sang the last song at around 4am on Sunday morning and looked back on what we had done it was all worth it. By the last song we had raised over £2000 a total, but we hope will eventually reach £5000."
